Despite the chilly weather, we had a wonderful time at our 2nd Annual Ready, Aim, CHANGE! Sporting Clays Tournament at the Greater Houston Sports Club. We had 18 teams who competed and raised over $50,000! Huge thanks to Gordy & Sons Outfitters for being our Title Sponsor. It was a true game changer for the event and for our bottom line!

The Harris and Fort Bend County Courthouses were well represented at the event. From Harris County, Judge Kristin Guiney participated as well as famed attorney Dick DeGuerin. The team from Fort Bend County included District Attorney Brian Middleton and Judge Chad Bridges, who also serves as the CARD Drug Court judge for the jurisdiction. Constable Alan Rosen also supplied a team for the tournament. There were just too many attorneys there to name, but we thank them all for supporting Justice Forward.

We also owe much gratitude to our Board Chair Deborah Keyser, Advancement Committee Chair Jill Williams, Executive Assistant Leah Dozier and Program Director Mary Covington for pulling this all together with great food, lots of drinks and a whole lot of can-do attitudes.

         Here are the winners:

First Place Team: Jeff Birmingham, Vence Petrenella, Houston Radcliff, and Clay Shook.

Second Place Team: Bennett Blocker, Sr., Bennett Blocker, Jr., John Blocker III and Danny Davis

Third Place Team: Rob Adams, Brandon Batton, John Harris, and Ken Wells

         Top Male Shooter: Houston Radcliff

         Top Female Shooter: Johanna Pylant
